Anywho - Zombie Survival LJRP starting up over at alasbabylonrp. Basically your character has been brought to Babylon, which is a huge once-thriving metropolis city of around Six million. Those Six Million are now all Zombies. The Goal isn't to kill them all, it's to survive them. We're welcoming any and all characters - Original or from a Canon. It'll be starting up Sometime around next Monday. We have a FAQ for any pressing questions, and I hope someone's interested by this! Noob!Mod is unused to advertising....

(Personally, I'd like to see what Jack does when faced with six million Zombies...)

Hi guys. I know I keep posting stuff and then disappearing, sorry. Hopefully I'll finally get my fics sorted one day. Anyway, this is a fic in reaction to hearing of the passing of the great Don S. Davis on the 30th, my little goodbye to his alter ego.

My perennial favorite Jack/Daniel story is Latin for the Novice by Delilah. She's written in the Gateverse as well as The Sentinel.

Some lovely people are trying to contact her for permission to podfic this story -- which would thrill me no end -- but she's not replying to e-mails at her yahoo address.

I have read White Anger by Ozymandia and I have read and another one, which name and author escapes me for the moment but starts with Daniel kidnapped by slave traders and Jack going undercover with a Tok'ra operative to retrieve him.

What I would like is recs to more Slave!Daniel/Master!Jack fics if you know of any please.

There is some truly awesome fiction pouring out of the sg1friendathon, and if you haven't been by there to check out the master list, I highly recommend it.  (And I haven't even gotten to read them all yet...)  There's some great Jack and Daniel friendship stories, with good doses of thinky, angsty, and bantery moments, if you will permit me to make up words on a Friday night.
